This is it!

In just a few short hours Caleb will be going into surgery to repair his lip, palate and put in ear tubes. I have wrestled with some sadness at my little boy never looking the same again and knowing that he is going to be in quite a bit of pain the next few days. Please keep us in your prayers and I'll leave you one last time with the sweet smile that we fell in love with!

Melissa, Sorry I had the date wrong in my mind. I thought it was tomorrow. Glad I checked. You will all be in our prayers. I completely understand the loss of that face you fell in love with. We have the with Joshua as well! But oh the joy to see our boys with their new grins!! All the best.

Hey Melissa. From one cleft mom to another, please tell INOVA to manage his pain! I know they don't want the little ones on much pain meds (narcotics) for obvious reasons, but INSIST if you have to!

Will be praying for Caleb! BTDT! Hopefully you'll be home ASAP!
